Speech and Drama (Helen O’ Grady):

Drama creates many opportunities for language learning and also opportunities for children to experiment with different styles of speaking, creation of sound, movement, gesture and mime.

Kindy Programme designed for children aged 3 and 5 years aims to develop confidence, self-esteem, effective social interaction skills and a sound grounding in early childhood language.

Developmental Drama curriculum for Primary and Secondary students supports each child’s holistic development by developing skills like confidence building, language and communication, creativity, critical thinking, social and emotional well-being and self-esteem.

Sports and Physical Education (Marcos Quay):

At our school, we believe that sports play a crucial role in developing well-rounded individuals with a strong foundation for future success. That’s why we partnered with Marcos Quay, a leading provider of UK-based sports programs, to offer students a structured and engaging experience.

For our pre-primary students, the Smart Start program lays the groundwork for future sports endeavors. This program focuses on developing essential foundational skills like catching, throwing, rolling, balancing, and hand-eye coordination.

Our Active P.E. program, designed for students from Grade 1 onwards, aims to cultivate valuable life skills like teamwork, discipline, and perseverance through engaging drills and exercises. Additionally, students are introduced to a variety of individual and team sports, both indoor and outdoor, fostering a love for physical activity and sportsmanship.

Learning music fosters academic excellence, boosts cognitive skills, enhances spatial intelligence, and improves focus and memory. Furtados School of Music leads the way in bringing this elevated pedagogy to our school. The Furtados in-school program offers piano and western vocals taught in a fun and engaging environment.

Dance (Danceworx):

Danceworx has partnered with AIS to empower young minds through the magic of dance. While learning dance styles like Jazz, Ballet, and Funk, students also develop valuable life skills such as respect, hard work, and discipline in a fun and engaging way.
