About Us

Adarsh Vidyalaya, a State Board Marathi medium school, was established in 1960 under the banner of ‘The Vishal Mumbai Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’ (VMSPM) led by the former Cabinet Minister of Industries, Mr. Subhash Desai, along with Mr. J. M. Abhyankar, Chairman of Maharashtra State Scheduled Caste Depository Commission & State Minority Commission, and other honourable members of the trust. The school was set up with an objective to provide quality education to learners which seamlessly integrates academics with arts and sports. With the phenomenal response and success of the Marathi medium school, the Trust launched a State Board English medium school in 2005 on popular demand. Together, both these schools have contributed in numerous ways to the progress of the learners who have walked through its portals.

Adarsh International School (AIS), a Cambridge International school, has been founded by the Trust to continue the legacy of excellence in education and provide a platform for the new-age learners to launch their global aspirations. AIS aims to make a mark as one of the leading premium educational institutions with international standards imparting learning in a stimulating and inspirational environment.
